0 appearances in 154 days! TA: Alonso told Endrick not to give him enough time, but the latter stayed on the team

TA wrote that Endrick is facing the most difficult period since joining Real Madrid. Since May 19, he has not played for the team for 154 consecutive days.

In these five months, he experienced a team coaching change, two hamstring injuries, missed the Club World Cup, and missed the Brazilian national team roster for three consecutive international match days.

TA revealed that new coach Xabi Alonso had clearly told Endrick that it would be difficult for him to get stable playing time this season, but he still decided to stay on the team and compete. Alonso publicly stated that "his time will come", but Enderrick has been on the bench for five consecutive games.

Looking back on last season, Endrick played 37 times and scored 7 goals in a limited 847 minutes, with good efficiency (0.74 goals per 90 minutes on average). It was widely believed within the club that former coach Carlo Ancelotti's conservative attitude towards the use of young players was a key factor in limiting his playing time.

Two key injuries became major setbacks for him this season. A first hamstring injury caused him to miss the Club World Cup in the United States, during which youth forward Gonzalo Garcia performed well and won the tournament's Golden Boot. To make matters worse, when Endrick rushed to the United States to train together in advance to be closer to the new coaching team, he suffered a relapse of an old injury in the first training session and was not able to return to the roster until September.

Endrick will re-evaluate his situation come January. If the situation does not improve by then, in order to compete for the opportunity to participate in next year's World Cup, he may seek a loan in the second half of the season to get the necessary game time.
