Official: A large amount of debt + wage arrears, Brescia was ruled out of the Serie C next season

The Italian Football Association officially announced that Serie B team Brescia was excluded from the Italian League C.

The Italian Football Association officially confirmed through an announcement that Brescia Football Club officially withdrew from professional football after 114 years. The announcement reads: "The Football Association decided not to grant Brescia national participation license for the 2025/2026 season and therefore does not qualify the club to participate in the Serie C League."

In the foreword, the announcement reviews the large amount of debts and unpaid wages owed by the Brescia club led by Massimo Cellino. It is worth noting that as of May 27, the club has not even paid the registration fee for the Serie C League, nor has it submitted a bank guarantee of 350,000 euros as the first guarantee.

In short, Brescia "failed to meet all the conditions and requirements required to obtain a license".
