The Warriors will hold a 50th anniversary celebration of their championship at the game against the Trail Blazers the day after tomorrow. Many celebrities will attend.

The 50th anniversary of the 1975 championship was celebrated at home against the Portland Trail Blazers on November 22.

All living members of that team will be on hand to celebrate, including Rick Barry, Butch Beard, Charles Dudley, George Johnson, Jeff Malice, Clifford Ray and Jamal Wilkes. The late Alvin Attles will be represented by his son.

In that day's game, the Warriors will commemorate the team's first championship on the West Coast in a variety of ways, including on-court video reviews and a special on-court tribute ceremony. In addition, these team members will be signing autographs at the Warriors official store before the game.

The 1974-75 season was the 29th season in the team's history and the 13th year after moving to California. The Warriors finished the regular season with a record of 48 wins and 34 losses and won the Pacific Division Championship. Jamaal Wilkes won the Rookie of the Year award with his performance of 14.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game and 30.7 minutes per game (82 full appearances).

In the playoffs, the Warriors first defeated the Seattle SuperSonics in six games, and then reversed from a 2-3 deficit in the Western Conference Finals to eliminate the Chicago Bulls in a tiebreaker. Subsequently, they swept the Washington Bullets (now the Wizards) 4-0 in the Finals and won the team's first championship after moving to the West Coast.

Rick Barry was named the Finals MVP after averaging 29.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.5 steals in the Finals.

The Warriors have won a total of seven NBA championships: 1947, 1956, 1975, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022, ranking third in history, second only to the Celtics and Lakers.
