How to maintain your status in an 18-year career? Ariza: My mother’s genes are good and she practices strength even when she’s not competing.

Recently, Ariza participated in former Lakers coach Byron Scott's podcast "Byron Scott 's Fast Break", during which he talked about his love for strength training.

Scott: Your career has lasted 18 years. How do you maintain your shape and physical condition? Any tips?

Ariza: The genes my mother gave me are very good, hahaha, there’s nothing I can do about them! Then there's the weight room. I love going to the weight room, even when I'm not competing. It makes me stronger. Strength training can make me more comfortable on the court, allow me to catch up with some fast players, and help me grasp the ball more firmly. Doing strength training at the same time also keeps me mentally strong. This is not just a matter of physical form, it is also a matter of maintaining professional status. Both the spirit and the body are important.
