Tudor: Of course Juventus can compete for the Serie A championship this season, and its significance against Inter Milan is far more than three points
Juventus coach Tudor was interviewed by former teammate Ferrara on DAZN's program, and he talked about the meaning of Juventus to him, Bremer, Vlahovic and other topics.
What Juventus means to you
"Juventus is a part of my life, really. Whether it is a person or a coach, Juventus has shaped me now. It can be said that Juventus has long become a part of me."
Do you still remember the scene of joining Juventus?
"Juventus just won the Champions League in those years, and everything was like a dream. The most special thing was watching Zidane train alone, and a whole team of people were serving him. I still remember that scene. We had to move the goal and the ball ourselves back then. Now a team of 30 people specializes in these things. Times have changed, but the game is much more difficult now."
Who is in the "historical" Juventus locker room?
"What I think of is Bilindelli, Pesotto, Montero, Ferrara, and Piero. Piero will get angry even if he loses the training game. This is the famous 'Juventus style'. I am the same in my life: say less and do more, and set an example; when others make mistakes, they don't turn around and pretend not to see them, and always keep their training focused. The game is the simplest part."
How important is Bremer's comeback?
"Bremer is extremely critical both as a player and as a leader. The locker room needs his aura. This kid is as good as a bread and always on call. If he plays three central defenders with Ferrara and Montero? He will definitely start (laughs). "
What is the mood for coaching Juventus?
"It's so wonderful. I retired early due to an ankle injury when I was a player, and I always feel that I owe this club. After I started coaching at the age of 31, I dreamed of coming back to coach Juventus one day and paying back the love."
Inter Milan will come to Allianz Stadium on Saturday. What kind of showdown do you expect?
"The derby score is far more than 3 points, but it will be easier for me to mobilize the team in this way. Inter Milan is a mature and experienced strong team; we have to use our strengths to attack their weak rings, and in the end we see who is better."
Do you think this Juventus can compete for the league championship?
"Of course. At the beginning of the season, I mentioned the possibility of winning the championship in several internal meetings, and then I closed the goal and never talked about the goal again. I only talked about specific things. The goal is not for talking about every day, and it has to be achieved through actions."
During this period, Vlahovic was discussed a lot by the outside world, but he completed the task as long as he came on the court.
"His contract is about to expire, and the situation is special, which may inspire him. He is only 25 years old and is still growing, and the best year is still ahead. He has gotten out of the trough by himself and keeps focused. I should give candy, and I should give whip."
What do you think of Ilditz's talent?
"I chatted with them that day and found that I almost never publicly talked about Ilditz because he should always do what he should do. He is almost impeccable regardless of the attitude of the game or daily behavior. The real difference is that he must have sufficient motivation every day. Now he has done it, and hopes to continue to do it. This child has all the qualities of becoming a top star."
Who do you want to sign for Juventus the most?
"Zidane. Qizu is the football itself."
