David Mitchell: After retirement I hope people regard me as the best defensive guard in history
Recently, Heat player David Mitchell talked about his expectations for his career.
Question: "But if you can look back 10 years later and say, 'I did this,' or 'That's how people remember me...' I know it's not easy to say what kind of legend you want to leave, but what will be the legend you expect? 10 to 15 years later, how do you want people to see you?"
Mitchell: "I'll go to win at all costs. I'm the best defensive defender in the sport - that's what I hope. And it's obvious that I want to be a champion at some point in my career. I definitely want to win a championship trophy. I mean - even if there is only one, just one - but I have to win a championship trophy. Hope to win multiple, but no matter what, I'm going to get at least one."
