Polish coach talks about Lewandowski: He cannot continue playing if he suffers a muscle injury and does not understand his injury
Recently, Poland coach Urban accepted an interview with Spanish Radio Catalonia. He talked about Lewandowski who was injured during the national team match day.
Urban said: "In my opinion, if a player has torn muscle fibers, it is impossible to run at high speed and cannot compete. Everyone who is involved in football knows this, and I really don't understand it."
"Yes, he did feel some discomfort at the time. The team doctor, Lewandowski and I reached an agreement: If he feels any discomfort, he will apply for substitution. But he persisted until the end of the game. No problem."
"I didn't think he might be injured at all, because he was in good condition, and it was a decision we made together to give other players a chance."
"I am a player, and you can see that when players suffer muscle injuries, they will stop and cannot continue to play. Sorry, I really don't understand his injury."
