Cameron Anthony was born on May 29, 1984 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA. In 2003, Anthony led Syracuse University to the NCAA championship. In the same year, Anthony was selected by the Nuggets with the third pick in the first round in the NBA Draft, thus entering the NBA. In 2009, Anthony led the Nuggets to the Western Conference Finals. In February 2011, he was traded to the Knicks. In the 2012-13 season, Anthony was awarded the NBA regular season scoring leader. He was traded to the Thunder in September 2017, joined the Rockets in August 2018, transferred to the Trail Blazers in November 2019, and joined the Lakers in July 2021. In May 2023, Anthony officially announced his retirement.

Anthony was selected as the 75th best star in NBA history in 2021. He has been selected into the NBA All-Star lineup for 10 times in his career, the second team of the All-Star team for the second team, and the third team of the All-Star team for the four times. He played 1,260 games in his career, averaged 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1 steal per game, with a shooting percentage of 44.7/35.5/81.4% in three events.

For the national team, Anthony has represented the United States in the Olympic Games four times, winning three gold medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2012 London Olympics, and the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is the player with the most gold medals in the history of the United States.
