James: I should get a 500 million contract with the Cavaliers, Heat, and Lakers. I won championships with all three teams.

In a recently published book about James, "Hollywood Ending - The Dreams and Dramas Brought by LeBron James", it describes a conversation that James once had with Lakers teammate Anthony Davis.

In a conversation with Anthony Davis, Jared Vanderbilt and Lakers staff, LeBron James expressed that he hopes that the NBA will have no salary cap like Major League Baseball (MLB), so that teams do not have to worry about player salaries. He also mentioned that based on his actual value, he should have received a higher salary.

"Yes, when I came here (Note: Miami, where the conversation took place) at the age of 25, I should have received a four-year, $450 million contract. Then when I returned to my hometown of Cleveland, I should have received $500 million. And when I first joined the Lakers, I should have received another $500 million... because this is not just about basketball." James said.

"I'm worth more." He added, "Some players are only worth basketball, and I brought much more than that. I changed the entire landscape. I won a championship in every city I played for and every team I played for."
