Dream chase: Bain s transaction price is not small & He is not a perfect player sample James &KD& Curry is
Warriors Player Chasing Dreams commented on Bain's deal in his new episode of "Green Talk Sports", and he bluntly stated that the cost was very high.
"The four unprotected first-round picks exchanged with one draft pick, which is really a big price," Zhui Meng said. "So when I saw this deal, I thought, man, this is really too much, even though I like Bain."
Previously, Magic General Manager Anthony Parker said that if someone goes to the lab to build a basketball player, then the perfect template is Bain. Zhu Meng does not agree with this. "I saw that... I said, 'Oh, OK. That's why he paid so much.'" Zhumeng said, "But if I went to the lab to build a basketball player, I would build Kevin Durant or LeBron James, or a 6-foot-6-inch (1.98-meter) tall player with Stephen Curry's ability to shoot."
"Bain is 6-foot-5 (1.9) tall and has only 6-foot-4 or 6-2-inch wingspan," Zhumeng continued. "I wouldn't go to the lab to build a Bain, even though I respect him very much...I wouldn't build a basketball player with short arms."
Despite these criticisms, Zhu Meng believes that the deal is strategic from the Magic's perspective. Zhui Meng said: "It makes perfect sense for me that they made this decision. I'm not sure it's true, but I guess they've been looking for a point guard. I guess they've contacted Ja Morant and the Grizzlies finally turned the topic to Bain."
Zhui Meng thought the deal showed that the Magic were confident in the core pair Paul Bankairo and Wagner Jr., and Zhui Meng said: "They want to equip the pair with a shooter to relieve their pressure, and that's the signal that this deal sends me. I agree. They think the league is equal now and it's time to take a chance."
